TRANSPARENCY

CLEAR AND TRANSPARENT COMMUNICATION
We want to guide consumers in their choices and make them more aware of the cosmetics they use. For this reason, we provide clear and easy-to-read information on our product packaging.
READING THE INCI ON OUR LABELS
We want our labels to be easy to understand. This is why we use green for ingredients of natural origin and plant extracts, black for ingredients derived from scientific research and an asterisk for ingredients from organic agriculture.
In addition, every product comes with a QR code for easier access to more specific information.

GREEN & CLEAN
FORMULATIONS

FREE OF UNNECESSARY OR POTENTIALLY HARSH INGREDIENTS
We want to make a significant and tangible contribution to beauty, health and the environment. For this reason, we have chosen to eliminate certain ingredients from our products, as they are considered potentially harmful to the environment or to the health of those who use them, even though they are still allowed in cosmetics.

ICEA VEGAN-CERTIFIED FORMULATIONS
We want to promote a more respectful way of making cosmetics. To us, this means safeguarding life and nature in all of its forms. The ICEA Vegan certification guarantees formulations that do not contain any raw materials, process aids or auxiliary agents of animal or GMO origin. What’s more, very high production and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the entire production cycle.

CONSUMER
SAFETY

DERMATOLOGICALLY TESTED FORMULATIONS
We want to protect the health of consumers. This is why Actyva product formulations are gentle and subject to thorough and rigorous safety assessments by experts. Additionally, they are dermatologically tested by independent testing institutes to confirm skin tolerability under the close supervision of a dermatologist.

ENVIRONMENTAL
SUSTAINABILITY

INGREDIENTS FROM RESPONSIBLE SOURCES
We want to prioritise short supply chain raw materials that are sourced in close proximity to the place of production. This significantly reduces packaging and transport-related CO2 emissions. For this reason, we have converted a 28-hectare piece of land to organic farming to grow medicinal plants and selected local crop varieties.
CLEAN ENERGY
We want to implement measures to reduce the impact of emissions by using only clean energy from renewable sources, such as the power plants of Gruppo Dolomiti Energia. We also voluntarily adhere to the Kyoto protocol, offsetting our total CO2 emissions from methane gas use.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY OPTIMISATION
We are committed to decreasing our use of non-renewable energy, so in 2023 we lowered our carbon footprint by installing photovoltaic plants that can cover up to 30% of our energy needs. In addition, we have heat recovery systems in place to further optimise energy efficiency.

WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION
Our objective is to reduce the amount of water used to make our products. By revamping our wastewater treatment plant, we have increased water efficiency and recovery, decreased water use in production, reduced the amount of water abstracted or purchased as well as the amount of liquid waste sent for disposal. Best result: a decrease of over 23.4% in water intensity.

RECYCLABLE PACKAGING
We want to respect the balance of the planet by using packaging made from recyclable materials selected from Green PE, rPET and rALU to provide the industry with a sustainable source of raw materials. In this way, we can actively help minimise our impact on the planet by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and curbing the consumption of oil stocks.
